Marcello Pedruzzi
MSc Pharm (FD), MAS Appl Ethics
Marcello Pedruzzi is a structured, creative, and communicative person who brings people together and always looks at life with optimism. As a professional within sciences and applied ethics, his focus in the last years has been on innovative therapies and equal access to them. In his current position at one of the biggest health insurances in Switzerland, he leads negotiations concerning newly authorised pharmaceuticals with various pharmaceutical companies. In this capacity he also heads the sector-wide study rating group, in which 80% of the Swiss health insurances harmonise the access and the reimbursement of these therapies. Music is his most important passion and he could perform in renowned venues such as the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg or the Royal Albert Hall in London.
